Inside Sales Coordinator

PREMIER RIDES is a Baltimore, Maryland based global supplier of high-tech magnetic launch and traditional roller coasters, observation wheels, towers, water rides and custom designed attractions.

In addition, Premier has a service division that offers engineering support, complete ride and train rehab, and it maintains and offers spare parts supply on a 24-hour basis.

Located in Baltimore's historic Little Italy neighborhood, PREMIER RIDES is expanding and looking for highly experienced, highly motivated and energetic self-starter with a background in sales and client research management. Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience. Candidate will perform client research and analysis to identify buying trends, qualify and track new and existing leads, confirm contact information, and to prepare reports for the Sales & Marketing Team prior to attending trade shows, conferences and industry events. This position requires an assertive individual with the talent to develop long-term relationships with our clients. Being a phone/email based position, excellent written and verbal skills are a must, as well as a heightened sense of urgency and passion for exceptional customer service.

Candidate will collect, maintain and update client database; create a tracking system to organize and qualify leads; create and maintain historical data on area and customer sales. He/she will identify new project leads (learned via industry newsletters and rumor websites, press releases, social media and direct messages), and research/analyze the territory to determine the market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers (Latin America, Asia, North America, Europe, Middle East, Australia; also US parks by region such as New England, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, etc.) This job requires the ability to investigate to determine appropriate contact person for each project opportunity (owners, design companies, etc.) through “Google research”, business directories, direct phone calls and email. Candidate works closely with Sales & Marketing Team to develop relationships with new clients which may require more attention, prepare materials to support sales efforts (i.e., literature, internal reports, PowerPoint presentations, etc.), assist in trade show preparations, client/industry meetings, seminars, and client dinners; and assist in preparations of new rides proposals (including prepare/send NDAs, review RFPs, organize/format requests for clarifications and responses). He/she will keep abreast of products and services, market conditions, competitive activities, and trends; and keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports.

Ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, very organized, and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in additional language(s) a plus. Must have presentation and social skills to interact with vendors, management and clients; possess an articulate, precise phone voice (previous customer service experience using a phone a plus), and demonstrate excellent typing and grammar skills. Candidate will be able to adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of client. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel is a must! Must be able to work under pressure, be willing to work with tight deadlines, be capable of multi-tasking, and have the ability to adjust to always changing priorities. Must be willing to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on workload. This position may travel as necessary to attend events. Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team; must be a team player.

A minimum education requirement of an Associate or Bachelor Degree in Sales, Business, or Marketing is preferred. If this education is not available, the equivalent in professional experience is needed.
